An hour in the waiting room, and nothing on the wall but a clock.
An MOT or a service keeps a customer in your waiting area for the best part of an hour. Show them the tyres they will need before winter, the air-con recharge and the next service date — and let the valeter and the café next door pay for the rest.
Free to join, free to run your garage screens. You only pay if you want to advertise on someone else’s.
On a garage screen
What you would actually put on it.
A service or an MOT means sitting for most of an hour, which is among the longest waits on the network.
What the car will need next
Winter tyres, brake fluid, the air-con recharge before summer. The work you would recommend anyway, in front of people who are already here.
Book the next one by QR
A poster with a code for your booking page, so the next MOT or service is booked before they drive away.
The wait itself
How long a job usually takes, the Wi-Fi, the coffee, the courtesy car. Fewer questions at the desk.
Cars for sale
For dealerships, the forecourt stock on the showroom screen — a photograph and a price per car, taken down as each one sells.
And it earns
A garage waiting room holds the same person for close to an hour, which is exactly what advertisers pay for.
Valeters, driving instructors, local cafés and insurance brokers would like that hour, and you decide who gets it.
Who wants your room: Valeting and detailing firms, driving instructors, local cafés and takeaways, independent insurance brokers, dash-cam and window-tint fitters, and estate agents.
70% is yours
You set the price per play and 70% of it reaches you. There is nothing else to pay — no subscription, no listing fee, no hardware.
Only real plays count
A play pays out only if the screen was on, visible and verified. Nobody is billed for a dark screen.
10p in, 10p out
A credit is worth the same whether you buy it or cash it out. Withdraw from 500 credits.
Do the sum
What would a garage screen earn?
Opens on the hours and the price a garage actually trades at, and on a quiet week rather than a good one.
Your screen
Trading hours, not opening hours. A screen nobody is looking at earns nothing, and the player knows the difference.
This is the honest unknown, and it is about demand rather than your loop — which could carry about 91 an hour at 30%. It starts on quiet on purpose.
You set this, and you can change it whenever you like.
The rest of the loop stays yours. This sets the ceiling, not the demand.
You would earn, roughly
£42.60 a month
426 credits · £511.20 a year
The same screen, three ways
An estimate, not an offer. You are paid only for plays the screen proves — an advert of about 10s with a signed token and a heartbeat showing the screen was awake and in view. The same advertiser cannot play twice within 40 seconds or more than 40 times an hour on your screen, so busy hours need several advertisers, not one repeated. Several TVs showing one loop count as one play — you price the set.
Questions
What garages and car dealerships ask.
Our waiting area is small — is it worth it?
The size of the room matters less than how long people sit in it. One screen facing four chairs, watched for most of an hour, is a good screen.
Can the showroom screen show our stock?
Yes. Upload a photograph and price per car and remove each card as it sells. It is your loop; advertising is only ever the share you choose to open.
We have several sites.
Each site's screen has its own loop and price, all run from one account, and a new screen can copy everything from an existing one.
